Plan your trip to paddle the scenic Upper Tallapoosa River on the Lloyd Owens Canoe Trail. Tallapoosa River Outdoor Center offers a 7 mile/ half day trip ending at the outfitter shop.
All boaters must sign a liability waiver. Save time by clicking the link below to download the waiver ahead of time. No children under age 5 are permitted. Total trip distance is ~7mi and ~4-5hrs. Make sure that you are physically fit enough to handle the demands of a kayak trip. Always wear your life jacket! Take care of our rental boats & gear as if they were your own. Be responsible and respectful of others when floating the creek. Respect private property along the creek. Use common sense and obey the law. No pets, littering, alcohol, illegal drugs, glass containers, foul language, etc. All rental boats must be out of the water by 5pm. All vehicles need to be off property by 6pm.
